Having a background in Video Art, Performance and Programming, I saw the Web as the perfect integrator for all these artforms.
Back in 1996 there were no standards for streaming web videos. The only way to display videos - that were unavoidingly silent - was by recombining every single frame of a small quicktime movie and turning them into animated gifs with a 256 color palette.
I used Strata to create the 3D animated objects and Director 5.0 to combine, display and export the videos as universal animated gifs.
These animations are heavy, even for today's standards, so please be patient and wait until they download completely.
