Sibate is a small town near Bogota where most of the Mental Hospitals, Geriatic Centers, and Centers for Disabled youth were located since the end of last century. The money that was supposed to be invested in repairing the buildings and raising the quality of life of the interns, was stolen during the president Samper's government. |
D told me that the madman tried to attack him and my father did not react.
My father -the psychiatrist- knew the madman was too sedated to harm anyone.
He just wanted my brother to get scared.
Maybe that was my father's way to raise a child. |
